Sep 23, 2022 – Enterprise Purchasing Group (epg) and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) have announced the extension of their exclusive partnership through April 2027. epg serves as the exclusive group purchasing organization for ACG, helping ACG’s members reduce costs through pre-negotiated supplier contracts and group-sourcing events. Along with the extension of the partnership, epg has announced exclusive new benefits only available to the ACG network. These will include up to 86% discounts from UPS and DHL, preferential Ocean Freight pricing, and exclusive 1.9% cash back credit card incentives. A full list of the exclusive epg benefits for ACG members was not provided at the time this article was written.
As companies around the world struggle with supply chain disruption and reduced consumer spending, many mid-market companies have turned to group purchasing organizations to control costs and maintain reliability within their supply chain. Through epg, companies are given access to higher shipping discounts than an individual business could negotiate on their own, without the shipping volume commitments normally required of shippers to maintain discounts.
epg’s Chief Revenue Officer, Jordan Zapotechne, said about the ACG partnership, “epg is committed to supporting middle market companies and we have seen the same drive and commitment from ACG, which is why this partnership is so important to us. ACG is the leader in connecting mid-market private equity investors and providing them with industry insights. epg’s buying power and logistics expertise provide a unique resource to investment groups that have an active interest in reducing costs at their portfolio companies. The combined resources of ACG and epg will ultimately support PE’s, from the deal sourcers to the operating partners, resulting in more valuable portfolio companies.”
